Why start a Blog?

We started this blog following discussions at a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Northamptonshire committee meeting in April 2007. Why? Well instead of just talking about "New Technology in Marketing", we thought it would be a good idea to try using this new technology to see if it would help us to solve a very old problem with all membership organisations - improving communications with members and getting feedback from them.

It will be interesting to see it this blog helps us to improve our ability to provide good events and networking for local and regional members of the CIM and anyone else interested in the ever changing world of Marketing.
