29th January 2009 - Northampton - Marketing in the 21st century: a new approach

Frustrated at the way the traditional methods of marketing and selling are being taught and conducted within the workplace, Grant Leboff formalised his own sales philosophy and sales therapy, creating a new marketing and sales methodology for the 21st Century.

As the Managing Director of two companies, Grant puts what he says into practice, every day. Phone Intelligence Ltd is a business-to-business telemarketing company. Its services include market research, appointment making and lead generation, as well as training and consultancy in the telemarketing arena.

The Intelligent Sales Club Ltd provides sales and marketing support to business owners through seminars, training and resource materials. It also provides consultancy, helping companies build brands and refine their sales message and approach and determine their best routes to market.

  • Every business is a sales organisation
  • Without sales there are no customers
  • Without customers there is no business
  • What's your strategy for winning business?

Speaker - Grant Leboff
Grant spends a significant amount of time giving talks about sales and marketing for a variety of business groups. He also is a regular contributor to many business magazines and newspapers. His first book, Sales therapy: effective selling for the small business owner was in Amazon's top 10.

13th May 2008 - Northampton - Killer Presentations Workshop

Following the very successful evening event last autumn, Chas Williams will be leading a half day workshop on how to produce and deliver effective presentations which will engage your audience.

Have you ever wondered how simple changes to your PowerPoint presentation could have a big impact on its success?

Have you got a business pitch or important presentation coming up? Will yours kill your competition and/or your audience?

If you use PowerPoint, then this Killer Presentations Workshop will be the most valuable half-day event you attend this year.

How many companies actually measure the 'effectiveness' of their presentations? We estimate that only around 5% of companies are able to answer this. Our research shows that most companies believe that their material is 'good' and is 'likely to be as good as their competitors'. But is that really good enough?

Have you ever wondered how simple changes to your presentation could have a big impact on its success? Do you really know what makes an effective presentation? In the past, you may have received training on how to deliver a presentation but chances are you won't have been given PowerPoint Effectiveness training.

The Killer Presentations Workshop is unlike any other. It focuses on what is effective on slides and why - based on academic research and experience. Why not send us some samples of your current material and we can provide feedback in the session?

Who will benefit from the Workshop?
* Marketing and support staff who prepare presentations for themselves or others
* Sales professionals who want to improve the success rate of their presentations
* Communications managers
* Analysts and Specialists who inform others or seek approval for projects

By attending, you will learn how to produce and deliver effective presentations which will engage your audience. You will instantly improve your ability to transform average presentations into 'Killer Presentations' - those that have visual impact, high recall and create bottom-line results.
After all, a memorable presentation can make the difference between you winning and losing an order, gaining acceptance of an idea or failing, or creating a meaningful exchange of information rather than misunderstanding.

During the workshop you will work on your own PowerPoint presentation and take away a much improved version. You will also hear real case study examples and take away ideas that you can implement right away. Delegates will be given the knowledge and methodology to create, and opportunities to deliver, presentations in an easy to use and ground-breaking format that re-defines the fundamentals of great presentations.

The workshop format focuses on how to:
* develop and structure compelling messages
* initiate the visualisation process
* increase audience retention through synchronised visual communication
* present a seamless flow of visual information

29th January 2008 - University of Warwick - "Getting Ahead in E-Marketing"

In the first of two events featuring successful e-marketing, this seminar re-visits the fundamentals of building and managing websites that deliver results.

James Pennington, Lead Consultant of the National b2b Centre at Warwick University, will guide delegates through the secrets to planning and developing websites that work. Search Engine Management and measurement of results with analytics will be fully covered.

As the seminar progresses, delegates will use analytical techniques from the Nb2b Centre’s on-line toolkit to critique a selection of live websites and see for themselves the difference between the good, the bad and the ugly. Are you confident enough to nominate your website for assessment?

James’ engaging presentation style, access to a range of free analytical tools and a valuable networking opportunity combine to create an enjoyable and informative evening. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Take a further step towards “Getting Ahead in E-marketing” at our second event, the “Future of Digital Brands” to be held in Birmingham 27 February. E-marketing experts Simon Cox and Andy Cox from Freestyle New Media pose the question “Whose brand is it anyway?” as new areas of customer interaction are available to marketers through “Web 2.0” and other digital media.
